BATMAN is set to be killed after 70 years of fight against crime - in a comic book that has created the comic book superhero. The Bruce Waynecharacter is now expected to retire from his duties, perhaps leading to a new Batman or a completely different superhero to take his place. Items that are widespread in the next issue of DC Comics Batman, published on Thursday (27Nov08), will meet a grisly end Bruce Wayne. L last Batman movie, The Dark Knight with Christian Bale as Wayne, was a box-office clash of this year (08) and the film is another said to be imminent - but it seems the bubble is now equivalent its course.
